We are recruiting for a brilliant business in Swindon who are growing fast. The company is looking for a Settlements Analyst to cover an internal secondment on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a minimum period of 6 months. The Settlement Analyst is a key role within the PPS Finance function, supporting the delivery of business-critical activities. This role will initially support the development and embedding of new processes to support new business opportunities
The role includes:
- Updating and circulating E-money reporting settlement position, reporting by scheme & program (Excel and SQL, running only no query writing)
- Risk monitoring on e-money position in accordance with regulatory requirements (Excel)
- Liaising with external Clients, dealing with internal and external queries regarding their settlement position
- Assisting with project to automate reporting
- AP payments to clients for e-money revenues (Oracle)
- Cash Transfers - assist in raising day to day cash transfers and cash settlements required
- Bank Accounts Setup and Administration
- Client reporting - provide reporting to clients as required (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
- Monitoring of client programme funding, challenging where required.
- Balance sheet reconciliation around client bank accounts, programmes and activity
- Provide cover for other Settlement Analysts for business-critical activities including, but not limited to, client settlement, Safeguarding
- Other tasks as required to support the Treasury Manager and other team members.
- Assisting with project to automate reporting
- Matching of invoices and prepayments for the e-money settlement cycle (Oracle)
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis

- Strong numerical skills - accountancy knowledge (preferred)
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and apply sound judgment and initiative
- Advanced Excel including model building
- Familiarity with accounting systems (preferably Oracle)
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and controls
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
